Anyone heard anything about what was going on there last night?

I was on 69 and got off at Illinois road and there were easily 15 cop cars (County, City, State) parked all over the place with their lights on and guys running all around. There were about 5-6 on the bridge, another 5-6 on the north cloverleafs, another 5-6 on the south cloverleafs and from what I saw another 5-6 at the Abacus Daycare/SDI Headquarters area.

The officers were out on foot running around, so I can only ...

We stopped recently for a quick lunch at the mall. Hubby tried the new Triple Cheese Cheesesteak at Charley's. It was very tasty. I ended up stopping a few days ago and shared one with my daughter. We both really liked it. She usually eats pretty light at lunch and gobbled it down.

Keep in mind I probably haven't had anything close to a "real" cheesesteak sammy so I don't know how it would compare to a more authentic one. But I'd love to go back for another already.

I gotta be honest.. I think he's done a great job so far. Our state is actually in the black as opposed to most others, we really haven't lost a ton of jobs that I know of. In fact, didn't Indiana get the Honda plant contract down south last year? Some complain about the toll road deal, but it seemed to help, we have steady revenue to plan on now instead of fluctuating. Property taxes were actually looked at and ...

So starting here soon officers will have to pay $25 every 2 weeks if they live in Allen County and $30 if they live outside if they take a car home to help cover fuel costs.

This got me thinking though.. if you work at a car dealership, you have access to their vehicles and in the past would have to pay a nominal fee depending on the dealership to cover their insurance and "wear and tear". Since then the Gov't has ruled that pretty much every dealership isn't charging enough so ...

So I have a business opportunity that has come about and I'm looking into some different options... one of which could be the possibility of having a Compressed Natural Gas vehicle, but according to the US Dept of Energy there isn't a station around here (closest ones are in Goshen and Lima).

How does Lima have one and not FW? Farmers?

Anyone knowledgeable on this topic? Know the pro's and con's? All I really know is it's cleaner, not oil based, and cheaper.

This article discusses the missed opportunity to build an east west road through Fort Wayne for commuting and traffic flow.

Other issues the city/state should have thought out better? We still need to find a way to get this east west connector through the near center of the city if downtown is going to be revitalized.
