Just listened to a little of her stuff on netradio. I like her. Ambient, downtempo female voice.

My biggest problem with them is their name. Misspell it, one syllable word followed by a two syllable word, a short e sound in both words... Sounds a little bit like Led Zeppelin, eh? Suspect

Never heard that song before. I listened to it on last.fm

Maybe it meant something more to the people in that time period/generation. What do you think that song is about? Charon? The Grim Reaper?

I never knew for sure, but I'd say you're on the right track considering the psychedelic era it was made, take your pick.

Zero7 an interesting group. Sia has fronted for them in the past and they have also had a guy as well. I do not care for the guy's voice (sorry, not sure of his name and don't have time to look it up). I went through a lot of Zero7 songs to find my favorites.

I'll be interested to see what you think.

I'm sadly low on music here lately since I lent my Macbook to a friend while her computer is getting repaired.

I've been rocking out to the new Rush Snakes and Arrows Tour DVD in 5.1 dolby digital.

Oh, I like Live a lot. I think their best song is "Beauty of Grey" from their early album.

Ah yes, it was called "Mental Jewelry"

If you've never heard the song...

Me too... I mean I actually saw them at Verizon Wireless Music Center Razz but you've got a few years on me!

It was just after the release of Secret Samadhi - and they sang Lakini's Juice AND Beauty of Grey. The show was awesome.

...ahhh chit. didn't I hear they're tearing down DC/VWMC?

I saw Live at the Pepsi Coliseum at the Indiana State Fairgrounds, I think I was 14 at the time.

Dont know if that is going to happen anymore. Has anyone been down there lately? It used to be a stage with a roof and a big ass hill surrounded by pig farms and cornfields. That place is built up now with sidewalks, streetlights, and many of the farms/farmhouses aren't thre anymore. Oh, the days of camping out for a DMB weekend.
