So what is the one thing that you most look forward to eating this time of the year?

I will start ...

Probably the one thing that I only seem to get at this time of year is something that my sister in law calls puppy chow. It is like some cereal that she coats in this white pasty stuff ... I eat it by the handful.

My family cooks alot of cookies, about the only time of year that happens. I also like the pumpkin rolls my mother-in-law makes.

Is that a tradition borrowed from "A Christmas Story"?

I think that tradition predates Christmas Story.

When I lived in Atlanta with Jewish roomates, we had Chinese every Christmas.

It's a tradition... that and a movie.

I second that!!! YUMMY!!!

I also like the lil bite size pecan pies (Aunt makes them) and the chocolate cover "things" she makes... crackers, pretzles, etc.

My mom always makes a bunch of cookies and treats and every year chooses a new recipe or two. So this year she made a homemade Peppermint Patty. Holy cow, they are sooo freaking good. A new favorite!

I might have to ambush her house and retrieve some Twisted Evil
