Syracuse wins in 6 OTs
Just saw that Syracuse won in 6 OTs against UConn...gee, Donovan McNabb's (a Syracuse product) head must have been ready to explode!
Re: Syracuse wins in 6 OTs
And I saw where they went to a measly one-overtime in the next game.
Well Cincy, I see it's Purdue against OSU in an unlikely Big Ten championship matchup. I have never been a fan of the tournament as it almost always hurts the conference overall, but I'll take it this year! May the best team win! (as long as it's Purdue )

Re: Syracuse wins in 6 OTs
Some questions I have pondered while watching the NCAA tourney:
1. An intentional foul yields free throws and possession of the ball. Just about every close game where Team A is behind Team B and Team B has the ball in the closing seconds means that Team A will start fouling in order to get the ball back. How does a foul get more intentional than that? Don't get me wrong. It definitely adds excitement to a game where there is still at least a chance for the team that's behind. But why have an intentional foul rule then?
2. At what point did a blocked shot where the defender has his hand on the ball while it's still in the shooter's hand become a held ball and subject to the alternating possession rule? I thought the whole idea of a held ball is both players have possession of the ball.
3. Does anyone think it seems like commentators sound like they are describing a porno instead of a basketball game? As I was typing this, I heard "Wisconsin likes to bang" and "good ball movement". Or the always popular "he gets good penetration". Either that or they make words up. One announcer mentioned a player having "bouncability". Huh?
4. Has anyone noticed Purdue is in the Sweet 16?

Did you forget about:
1) (Insert player's name) takes it to the hole.
2) Two words: Double dribble
3) He shoots. He scores.

Re: Syracuse wins in 6 OTs
Something else I've noticed this year is there a ton of commercials for video games. Seems like every other commercial break has one. Nothing wrong with it, just sayin' I don't remember there being that many in past years as there are this year.

Oh and another thing...what's up with the long sleeves that some players wear, but they aren't part of the actual shirt.
