Today I had a pear from Harry & David's and it was about the size of my head. And I'm pretty sure I could have gotten about 5 cups of juice out of that thing.

I lovelovelove H&D Pears! Never had a juicier, more delicious piece of fruit.

Waiting for son to make his decision on where we are eating dinner for his birthday. The chicken and bacon roll ups (think T.G.I.Friday brand) didn't stay with me for long. I made Black Forest Cupcakes for his birthday cake (his choice).

Dinner last night was beef and onions with mini potatoes.

Lunch today was at Ikea, smoke salmon and salad, dessert was a slice of Daim cake and a cup of tea.

Mrs. Cincy Fan made something a little different for supper tonight, and boy oh boy, was it good! In a crockpot, she combined porkchops with Cranberry Salad (and added a little bit of water as well) and let it simmer all day. It was really really good!

C's-birthday eve I made a Leg of Lamb roast, stuffed with pesto, wild rice and mustard greens. Pesto: toasted almonds, grated Asiago cheese, ~4 cloves roasted garlic, olive oil, fresh mint, fresh basil, salt.

Yesterday I made a stew out of the leftovers: lamb, carrot, potato, shallot, wild rice, curry.

that sounds wonderful, Meta. We had rack of lamb last night, done with an Emeril recipe that combines mustard and a whole bunch of herbs as a crust. Yum.

Tonight it's hot dogs.

On Saturday for my family Christmas dinner we had a standing rib roast. This thing was a 9 bone roast that measured 17" long. It was awesome. I had the meat sweats afterward.

I am on a junk food binge; today I am eating Kettle brand Spicy Thai potato chips. Don't know if anyone else has tried these, but they are excellent.
