Re: Ford Sales up 33%
Definitely great news for Ford. This is right now the only American car manufacturer I would consider buying a car from. The Ford Edge interests me. I have tried the Ford Escape hybrid and was not impressed the Mercury Milan was test drove and it was a decent ride.
Kia and Hyundai and really been stepping up this year with there low cost models. Nissan is coming up also.
While people complain the money goes overseas I see it this way. The American manufacturers are shipping production overseas and building plants overseas. The foreign automakers are investing in this country building plants and hiring American workers. So really which is better to buy from?

Very impressive for Ford, indeed. I hope they are able to keep this up in our economy.
I guess it shouldn't be shocking though. I mean, who is honestly going to pay $31k for a new Grand Cherokee.

Re: Ford Sales up 33%
I never dug the Ford... My folks had a mustang (one of the bad, bad years where it looked like a mercury lynx) and it was terrible, my wife had a mustang and omfg that car was awful. It had zero power (it wasnt a GT or anything), I'm 5'10" (5' 11" if I'm lying) and the seat didnt go back far enough.
I guess the focus and such are pretty good, and they are the top truck these days. I just never loved me the foad.
