Colts AFC Champs Again

My favorite part of the game yesterday was seeing Sanchez sitting on his arse crying to the refs. Followed closely by seeing Rex Ryan's fat ass run down the sideline to call a timeout.

Chirp chirp from the non-Colts contingent... If I hadnt been on vacation I would have baited them a lot more... I say we cream the Saints too... I know it's the feel-good story and everything and the colts have an aura not unlike that of the death-star, but there's no way we dont win our second title.

Saw that Freeney has an injured ankle (torn ligament?)...how much will that hurt the Colts?

The Saints have a very good chance in this game. It really depends on which Saints defense shows up. The one in the playoffs getting turnovers or the one at the end of the reg season.

I'm hoping for a close game and they give manning the same treatment as Farve.

In all honesty, I don't think it matters what Saints defense shows up. I think it matters what Saints offense shows up. Peyton will tear up any defense in front of him, he's been that good lately. Colts shouldn't have any problems putting points on the board. I do worry about the explosive abilities of the Saints passing game though.

Oh yeah, it's been incredibly lonely around here. As a huge Colts fan, it's been one of the best weeks of all time. I haven't had anyone else to gloat in the greatness with.

I'm off this week. I am sitting in the hospital room waiting for my wife to get her baby on. I'll check in from time to time and add to the discussion.

It doesnt look like Freeney will play. While he is certainly our best threat at DE, losing him will not mean we lose the game... we may as well hang the banner now.

In a less homer view, I think the game will be decided on who can make the best adjustments throughout the game. For that I like the Colts' chances.
