Planned Parenthood and school vouchers?

Post  Pez on Tue May 24, 2011 4:52 pm

Anyone else see the paradox in cutting funding to planned parenthood because it indirectly subsidizes abortion, and the fact that school vouchers indirectly subsidize religion?

Not really. However I don't think too many religous schools will be taking the state up on its offer. Too many strings attached.

federal money goes to planned parenthood, PP doesn't spend that money on providing abortions... However because they get fedearl money for the less controversial things, they have more money to spend on abortions.

I bet quite a few might. I may be wrong, but chiurches make some money from their schools... will be hard for them to look that in the face and turn it down.

I was going off an artile I read. I believe it was even in the JG. Basically all the local FW private schools have said No thank you. I know when my cousins wife teaches, they have said no.
