Re: Marvin Harrison
I'm shocked by it... Although Marvin did spike that Ball in Vrabel's face after 'the catch...'

I think I speak for all Bengals fans far and wide when I say, "We'll take him every day of the week, and twice on Sunday."Scooby01_98 wrote:Looks like someone will be in Dungy's doghouse....might have to be traded to the Bengals

Re: Marvin Harrison
I dont think you have to say that you are speaking for Bengals fans... counting you and me, I think you are the only one :-)
No way Marvin gets to another team... what kinda man doesn't have a recently fired gun stashed at the car wash???
I'm really glad I dont watch NFL network in the off-season... I'm sure that since they finally have somethying to talk about they will be talking about it incessantly... "but what does this mean to people who look up to pro athletes as role models?"
STFU, it means they were just as dumb as they were before Marvin popped a cap in that mutha's ass...

Re: Marvin Harrison
It will be interesting to see how this pans out. At first, the major networks were making Marv look like he shot a guy in cold blood. Now, as more information and facts come out, they are backtracking a bit. The story first came out that Marv's gun was found in a bucket at a carwash, since then it has come out that he turned over the gun to police when they questioned him. When the story broke, the shooting happened outside of his bar, but in actuality, the shooting was miles away on the highway. Marv's lawyer and agent both say he is not currently a suspect, but thats what Pacman Jones' peoples said too. We'll see what happens.

ehh...don't know. Marv has the chemistry. I don't know how CJ would do with learning a new offense as complicated as the Colts offense on a pretty short timeframe.

Re: Marvin Harrison
Just to warn you too...if this deal was done, 85 has a habit of not putting up any kind of production during your biggest games of the year. Some would argue that he's getting double-teamed, yet Terrell Owens, Marvin Harrison, and Hines Ward still put up good numbers. Just my 2 Abe Lincolns.IrishGuy wrote:cardinal5150 wrote:straight up.. Re: Marvin Harrison
If CJ becomes a colt, i would buy a car wash so I would have a good place to shoot him.

Re: Marvin Harrison
Put CJ on a team with a solid running attack and other good weapons (TJ is good, but who else is there that's not in jail?)
I don't see it happening, Marvin will have to be convicted before the Colts let him go.

Re: Marvin Harrison
The Bengals did have a solid running attack in '05 & '06 (Rudi Johson, 1400+ yards each year), but 85 was nowhere to be found during the big games.cardinal5150 wrote:Put CJ on a team with a solid running attack and other good weapons (TJ is good, but who else is there that's not in jail?)

Re: Marvin Harrison
I remember a MNF game against Denver where CJ torched Champ Bailey.. short of that, I can't remember a big game for Cincy as of late.... unless you count the game where Palmer went down in the Playoffs against Pittsburgh.

Re: Marvin Harrison
Usually every game against the f'in steelers is a "Big Game"...but that's the difference (sadly) about the Colts and the Bengals. A "Big Game" for Bengals fans is either a divisional game OR the game that decides if they're going to be .500. For the Colts, a "Big Game" seems to happen every week and into those games they play after the regular season...I think they're called the "playoffs."cardinal5150 wrote:I remember a MNF game against Denver where CJ torched Champ Bailey.. short of that, I can't remember a big game for Cincy as of late.... unless you count the game where Palmer went down in the Playoffs against Pittsburgh.
Re: Marvin Harrison
I know what you mean about those games after the regular season.. Me and my Bears are on the every other year program. Should we start a pool now for when Mike Brown is going to go down with a season ending injury this year? I'm going with pre-season game #3.

Funny, I think I'd take your Mike Brown over our Mike Brown every day of the week...cardinal5150 wrote:I know what you mean about those games after the regular season.. At least your Bears are on the every other year program. The Bengals seem to be on the every 15 years program...but I'll still root for them...
