Reds make me so proud sometimes
Not sure if any of you heard about this, but my beloved Redleggers got beat by Toronto last night, 14-1 (what, couldn't at least get a field goal?). Their starting pitcher gave up 10 RUNS in 1+ inning (6 runs in the 1st, 4 more in the 2nd without getting anyone out before he was mercifully removed).
That pitching performance from what I hear has gone down as the WORST start for a pitcher in modern baseball (since 1900). Yee-haw! If you're going to stink it up, might as well be the worst at it.
After the game, at least the pitcher had a sense of humor about it...he said, "I think I would have done better if I would've just told them what I was gonna throw."
Ah, good times.

The colts used to really stink up the place. I know the feeling.

I hear what you're saying. I'm also a Bengals fan. Been with them thru the thin and thinner years...pez wrote:The colts used to really stink up the place. I know the feeling.
