FIREARMS REFRESHER COURSE

Post  iberlingirl on Fri Aug 29, 2008 8:46 pm

Not that these are or are not my views, I posted it b/c it made me think, thought it would make others think.

FIREARMS REFRESHER COURSE
1. An armed man is a citizen. An unarmed man is a subject.
2. A gun in the hand is better than a cop on the phone.
3. Colt: The original point and click interface.
4. Gun control is not about guns; it's about control.
5. If guns cause crime, then pencils cause misspelled words.
6. Free men do not ask permission to bear arms.
7. If you don't know your rights, you don't have any.
8. Those who trade liberty for security have neither.
9. The United States Constitution (c)1791. All Rights Reserved.
10. What part of 'shall not be infringed ' do you not understand?
11. The Second Amendment is in place in case the politicians ignore the others.
12. 64,999,987 firearms owners killed no one yesterday.
13. Guns only have two enemies; rust and politicians.
14. Know guns, know peace, know safety. No guns, no peace, no safety.
15. You don't shoot to kill; you shoot to stay alive.
16. 911: Government sponsored Dial-a-Prayer.
17. Assault is a behavior, not a device.
18. Criminals love gun control; it makes their jobs safer.
19. If guns cause crime, then matches cause arson.
20. Only a government that is afraid of its citizens tries to control them.
21. You have only the rights you are willing to fight for.
22. Enforce the gun control laws we ALREADY have; don't make more.
23. When you remove the people's right to bear arms, you create slaves.
24. The American Revolution would never have happened with gun control.

GUNS KILL MORE CHRISTIANS THAN A CROSS.

Damn I am buzzed.

I guess the 3 Dollar beers at Pieres during the PUSA concert were worth it.

Oh Moon? youre a fuggin' idiot.

Yeh, and I bet you drove that way too?

How is it you have a problem with me for agreeing with Iberlingirl, but not with her for posting it? Rolling Eyes

1. I didn't drive, so I drank like Caligula on a weekend bender.

B. I didn't call Iberlingirl a fuggin idiot because she's not...and you are

III. PUSA rocked the house. I initially wasn't going, but I scored free tix. Now I am sooo glad I went. it was a fun show and it was packed. It was a greatest hits show and they played everything you would want. Lump, Kitty, Peaches, Dunebuggy...plus a few cool covers from the Buggles and MC5. I forgot how much fun these guys were/are.

A+ Would go again.

He was a party animal. But I never quite was able to get past the sexual perversion and the whole "worship me" thing.

He was hoping he'd get me in the end, but the hole idea didn't appeal to me. By the way I was referring to Caligula. Smile

+1

We laughed, we danced, we woke up in a strange bed reeking of desperation and booze.

I guess I forgot to mention that I too was a fan of PUSA and am wishing I went out to hear them. I think I spied tickets day of show were $13 or $15. Free is the best price.

I like the list.. and completely agree.... I get to spend this fall learning how to shoot the 15 or so rifles/handguns I inherited. I'm really looking forward to the Eddystone and England bolt action rifles the most. Don't know why, they just look fun.
