I like Sarah Palin because...

Ok, lets try to keep this thread as clean as possible. These are ONLY the reasons we LIKE her. No debate, etc.

I like her because:

She's mostly a "real" person. Mother, Business Woman, Sport Hunter, Alaskan.

She's hot. And her hot daughter is loose and puts out.

She irritates Bman and FF.

She is also from outside the Washington beltway. Comes from the most middle class family background and remains closest too it. For drilling for oil along with other energy alternatives.

This may come out of (pardon the pun) Left Field...but I like that she is Pro-Life. Oh sure, take me task if you want to have the same tired arguments over and over again, but sticking with Meta's question, that's a big reason I like her. Now, I want to know more about her too. And the pro-life thing is not the end all be all for me.

She also seems to have an appealing personality, which Barack Obama has too. McCain doesn't do much for me, nor does Biden. Now if Obama and her were on the ticket together, oh man, would that be sweet! But we're not supposed to necessarily pick a candidate based on their running mate are we?

Right now, I look at her as the underdog in this race with McCain because of all of the smear things I read about her from a certain Buckeye fan on here and other places, and sometimes I just like pulling for the underdog (no posting Underdog Cartoon pics please unless he's wearing a Reds hat ). I don't think she's getting a fair deal from the press. I think, IMHO, they wanted McCain to pick some white guy (like Romney or Lieberman or the Minnesota Governor) because that's who they thought he should pick. And then McCain completely turns the tables on them and they felt they had to then go on the attack. So that makes me want to vote more for McCain/Palin just to spite the press. Again, MHO.

That said, I'm still 50/50 on this whole thing. The debates will play a large part for me in who I eventually decide to vote for. I do say some of the things on here to balance things out because let's face it, all of the candidates have skeletons in their closet, but if you listen to some on here, they look at their candidate with only rose-colored glasses.

I like her because she is a real person, and because she is steadfast in her opinions. I cant say more without violating the thread rules of staying positive....

Actually, I can't remember having said anything one way or the other about Obama. Nor have I been a John McCain cheerleader. I have said things against moonbat Democrats, Biden, Jill Long, Nancy Peloski, Harry Reid and that guy the D's have put up in the 3rd district.

2. she is a good mis-speaker when it benefits her, therefore she is qualified to stick with the republican nomination as long as she is able!
