I've read some reports that Palins speech had the largest viewership... beat Obama (previous record) by about 3 million. I think McCain's numbers were mostly to see if he was still breathing.

You're probably right about the breathing part. All things considered, it seems like a lot of people are interested in this political race one way or another, which I'm glad for. I'd rather see this than apathy toward it. And let me just state the obvious...whichever way the vote goes, to think that the U.S. of A. will for the first time in her history either have an African American as the president or a woman as the VP...pretty historic time period!
