sarahs answer to specifics on her international readiness
from the live feed at the mcsame town hall in michigan this morning. taking a question from an attendee, she was asked for "specific skills" she could cite to rebut critics who question her grasp of international affairs, she replied, "I am prepared. I have that confidence. I have that readiness," Palin said. "And if you want specifics with specific policies or countries, you can go ahead and ask me. You can play 'stump the candidate' if you want to. But we are ready to serve."
then john bush took over and there was no further comment from her regarding her specific skills.

Can we get some specific skills BO has? I mean other than being able to pose for pictures and all? Neither of them have any experience working with international affairs so it's going to come down to whether they can talk to people. I don't see any of the 4 candidates having any problems with that.

Sarah can see Russia from her state ... she has NEVER met with a foreign leader, Obama, Biden and McCain have.
This lady is not ready ... NOT READY FOR PRIMETIME. Her numbers are dropping like the stock market. Hilarious The buzz is fading fast.

i feel her ability is iffy based on her record of being able to deal with people.
think troopergate investigation of abuse of power; gov to cooperate then veep pick wont..
think radio interview where she is laughing at smears of a peer republican in her state
think of her inquiring about process to remove offensive library books
think fired the librarian who she felt wasnt supportive then rehired due to public backlash
think of her refusal to speak to reporters to show she can talk without a rovescript
think of her belittling of community organizers
think of her suppression of alaska science review on polar bears (sooo bush-esque)
think charging rape victims for the criminal-investigation kits used on them
think as mayor she paid for her office face-lift with money from a city highway fund, unauthorized

I was thinking that but I think some loose stones are more intelligent than that dude ... him and Dennis Kucinich were our freak shows ... like all of the republican candidates.

Why? Because their stances are outside of either party's traditional stances? If either party had the guts to nominate someone that actually stood for something truly different, I might have considered voting for a mainstream party.

Savoy these two were out there in my mind ... Dennis Kucinich was all about aliens ... and Gravel hardly ever made sense when he spoke, he was on Bill Maher one night and basically drooled on himself. Heck Bill Maher talked about either this past Friday or two weeks ago. I don't mind someone out of the mainstream but at least be sane. Ralph Nadar is sane ...

I can only fathom with Gravel on that show, it was probably really hard to understand either one of them and the show (like it ever does) didn't make sense...

So meeting with foreign leaders makes you an expert on foreign affairs? Fascinating.. I've met a few multi-millionaires in the past week, I guess that means I know what it takes to become one by your logic.
Hmm.. the market just rallied over 400 pts today.. good example on her popularity fading..

Knowing what it takes and having what it takes are, uhmmmmm, just a bit different. Having the wisdom and fortitude to see and accept ones own weakness and limitation (so as not to make an absolute fool of oneself, and an entire country) an absolutely vital skill IMO, for a leader of the free world.

So photo ops mean you have what it takes, or know what it takes?
