CSI Miami -- David Caruso
Does ANYONE think David Caruso can remotely act? He has a one-expression-fits-all type of acting style.
My husband and I watched one episode of CSI Miami, and thought he was awful. I thought the show was pretty bad, also, but I think all of the CSI's are slow and drawn out.
Fire away, folks.

Definitely! He's become the King of Overacting, IMHO. Last night's episode was disappointing
. Did you think for a second he was dead? Not me. Hopefully it'll get better as the season goes on. Gotta love though how the man puts on his shades...

Re: CSI Miami -- David Caruso
That show pretty much sucks. I watch the original CSI, but the others suck doe balls.

I saw the commercial when he "died", and I thought. oh finally they might boost this show.
I've never watched a single episode of CSI Miami or New York
I only watch the original sometimes.

He's just as horrible as the show he's on.
99% of all the crime dramas are played out. If you've seen one, you've seen 'em all.

I love Gary Sinise (ever since The Stand miniseries), and I still can't make myself watch CSI New York.

So who all has been killed off since last year. I heard several reports but have not watched it much last season and missed it last night. I know the Coroner (Khandi Alexander) was killed off last season but anyone else?

Can't think of anybody right off hand. I almost forgot about Khandi being off'ed last year until you typed it. That was a good move. She was worse than Carruso.Bman wrote:So who all has been killed off since last year. I heard several reports but have not watched it much last season and missed it last night. LOL Cincy, how do you figure she was worse? She didn't put on her sunglasses the same cool way as he did?
I just don't think Caruso could act, regardless of the role.

Canuck, I never got into how she would talk to the dead person. Gave me the heebie-jeebies. "Oh you poor thing. You got a spike in your head and now you won't be able to go the prom." Give me a break! I liked her on NewsRadio, but not on CSI Miami.

Maybe she was the real Sixth Sense character?

Sounds like she did the killing.
Have you ever watched Dexter? I just saw a few episodes of the first season.
Tangent police is gonna get me, but all this Caruso talk is worth a tangent or two...

Negative. Isn't it on Showtime? If so, I don't subscribe. I think CBS ran it some this summer, but I never saw it there either.Canuck wrote:Have you ever watched Dexter?

I love Dexter. It is originally a Showtime show, but they ran it on CBS last year. It pretty much followed the book till the end.

Read the Dexter books -- they're better.

I read the books too!!! I needed to find out what happened, so I read all three books. All three were really good, but the 3rd one was different than the others. I'm interested to see how they make that one into a show. I'm also interested to see how graphic season 2, based off the 2nd book, is.
