I see your new anti-Palin topic and raise you by noting this coming from the unbiased CNN.

DEWEY BEACH, Delaware (CNN) -- Although Democratic vice presidential candidate Joe Biden routinely mocks his Republican counterpart, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, for her onetime support of the infamous "Bridge to Nowhere," Biden and his running mate voted to keep the project alive twice.

The vote they were referencing in that piece was the TOTAL Transportation bill before the senate. The earmark for the bridge to nowhere was one of probably a gazillion earmarks in the bill ... the transportation bill passed 93:1 ... Senators can't line item veto things when the vote for them just like the President can't at this time either. It is all or nothing on a bill ... and holding up the transportation bill was probably not a good thing for those 93 Senators who voted for the Transportation bill. Obama/Biden and McCain voted FOR the transportation bill ... palin actively sought earmark funds and supported the bridge before she did not.

I repaired my Impala to keep it running before I did not as well.... that line that the left keeps using is pretty stupid.

I'm not sure why, really... it amuses me that it was actually coined by a democrat describing himself (Kerry).
So Did you announce to your family after you repaired the Impala that you were morally against repairing it before you repaired it?

There was usually the following exchange..
Me "my effing car needs work again, let's hire someone to steal it"
Wife "great... we're never buying a car from that place again, I don't care if they are your client"
Me "hey, that's an idea, let's go buy something new"
Wife "Shut up, you're not getting a new car"
Me "I have my car, I really don't want to fix it.. it sucks."
Wife "I get my dining room table before you get a new car, new basement or anything else"
Me "Damn" (Up until about a month ago when we got a new table)
So I guess I was morally opposed to fixing my car, and I let it be known.. then I usually went and fixed it.
