Re: Any 'Survivor' fans?
I occasionally watch the Amazing Race if there is nothing better on tv. I just don't get into many of these reality shows.
Dragon's Den on BBCA is sweet though.

The thing that really pissed me off and I think where reality TV fails is that they over-edit it and make it appear scripted...

I don't really consider Survivor to be a reality show as much as I consider it to be a gameshow.

I think I saw something on The Today Show or one of those types of shows that there's actually "Reality TV Show Acting Classes" you can take now. What will they think of next?pez wrote:The thing that really pissed me off and I think where reality TV fails is that they over-edit it and make it appear scripted...

Re: Any 'Survivor' fans?
Until they start doing them with naked women from my list and a select group of others, I have no interest. And the first contest has to be spin the bottle. And all shows must end with a make out session with all the contestants left.

Any "Survivor" Fans?
Not here, baby. Ick. If I wanted to watch unwashed people sweat, I'd hang out at the local icehouse.

Icehouse?
The band, or the beer?

Re: Any 'Survivor' fans?
They're basially outdoor bars here -- see Wikipedia quote.
In Texas, former ice houses are a cultural tradition, with many now converted into open-air bars. In the region of Central Texas and the Texas Hill Country, the word "ice house" has become a colloquialism for an establishment that derives the majority of its income from the sale of cold beer, particularly such locally-produced labels as Shiner Bock, Pearl, or Lone Star. One of the most famous is called "Ice Bar", located in downtown Austin.

Houston. I never thought of icehouses as being Austin-based as there's a bunch here.
