The Vibe 106.3 is no more

It's now Joe 106.3. While the Vibe repeated songs way to often, I'm going to miss flipping it on every day.

Apparenlty Joe will be playing "the 80s, 90s and Whatever." So far, I'm not impressed. Not at all.

And as for having a big cup of coffee on their front page to cover the shitty name, well, I'm certainly not feeling very perky from the music yet. I'm think it's time to find a new radio station.

Crap, I only listen to 106 and 97 and once in a great while 93. I do not like talking coming from the radio, so I flip back and forth... HATE when every station is talking! I want music!!

And the new format has a ton of commercials on too. I understand that is where the money comes from, but it's just crazy.

I wonder if I can sponge FM radio out of the hubby for Christmas...

The only good radio stations in Fort Wayne are the NPR station and the Homestead HS station. Fort Wayne, like many other communities, has seen the corporate takeover of the radio airwaves. Bunch of crappy stations playing a bunch of crappier music.

Thankfully I have my iPod and MP3 CD player in the car.
