Re: The RealBoard National Election
I just might go that route. The only bad part is the "wasting your vote" aspect.Jugomugo wrote:Third party all the way.

You're not wasting your vote if it is something you really believe in.

Re: The RealBoard National Election
Jugo, what party is the "third" party? I treid to look last week, and I seriously couldn't find anyone that arguably wasnt a whack job. The nearest is Ron Paul, but if that man were elected, it would hurt the country far more than Obama would...
Are you voting Independent as a protest vote?
The way to protest vote is to sign in, and then vote "no vote" if the machines allow, or write in Mickey Mouse... doing so proves that you arent irresponsible enough to squander your vote on a whackjob that would be terrible for the country. It also shows that you are exercising your rights, yet express disdain for the process.
I just think it would be better to vote for one of the two candidates that you most agree with, or not vote at all.

True, if you truly believe in something, stand firm and do not waver.

I'll probably vote libertarian, but it will depend on the polling right up to the election. I'd vote Obama just to keep McSame out of office. This country will go to hell in a handbasket if he and the incompetent bitch get into office.

There are certainly whackjobs running, the guy whose only platform is to outlaw alcohol comes to mind. But there seem to be some serious 3rd party candidates too. As far as Ron Paul, is he even running as an independent?pez wrote:Jugo, what party is the "third" party? Great idea. How about you go and stand firm in the middle of the street.
I believe in you... I do. I believe you can do it.
