Well, it was a rainy day in April, I was on a visit somewhere in the north,(wating for Mort to tell me where this actually happened).
The hotel I booked was burnt to the ground, earlier in the day. I couldn't get another room.
I looked off into the darkness of the night and saw the welcome glow of the golden arches in the distance. It gave me hope. I felt a wave of relief.
Alas, I can get something to eat. I walked over pulling my suitcase.
Got to the McDonald's, ordered something to eat, (I had a Big Mac and a salad), with a hot cup of tea.
I explained my dilemma to the server, she kindly said, I could sleep in the restaurant in a corner, however I had to leave before the manager came in to work in the morning. I agreed to leave at 5:30 am.
The manager usually starts at 7:00 am. This damp, rainy morning the manager came in early. He saw me sleeping off in a corner, came over and kicked me, he then proceeded to throw my belongings out in the rain. He was in quite the rage.
The server had a camera, however the manager took it and smashed it.

I have two pics that were taken by another passerby, but I must confess, I forgot how to upload images to the board. Help!!!

Yes, I saw that, I was just curious where the store is. I am guessing it is in the Windsor or Sarnia area.

Well yes I remember now it was in Windsor My Dad is from there we go there all the time I was thinking it was that town North of there but not!!
