I thought about going, but I don't want to deal with parking downtown.

Re: Bill Clinton - Fort Wayne
I wouldn't mind going, just to see how tall he is.. I'm curious. They have him at 6'2.5" I just wonder if that's as accurate as some basketball players and football players. And since they say the taller candidate usually wins, I'd like to know how I stack up for my future run at the White House.

I don't want to be anywhere close to downtown tonight.
No president OR former president is worth sitting in traffic for.

Thousands Attend Clinton Rally in Fort Wayne
Updated: March 19, 2008 12:17 AM EDT
(Fort Wayne - WANE) Former President Bill Clinton's visit drew thousands to the Grand Wayne Center on Tuesday evening. Many were Hillary supporters and people who wanted to hear from the man who knows her best. Hundreds began lining up earlier in the day for the presidential visit. Once the doors were opened, people flooded the room; quickly filling it up until it was standing room only. Shortly after 7 o'clock, Mr. Clinton took to the stage to thunderous applause.
He spoke on the strengths of his wife Hillary and her stance on a number of issues, including healthcare, the economy and Iraq war. "It was wonderful. Bill has always been a good speaker and a lot of what he said was stuff I was interested in and wanted to hear," says Mary Schoenle, who attended the rally.
"I didn't think I'd ever hear him speak and I'm glad I came. I stood in line for five hours, but it was worth every minute of it," adds Louise Stephenson, who also attended the rally.
President Clinton ended his speech by urging people to get involved locally with the Hillary campaign.
Afterwards, sign up sheets were available for interested volunteers.

Re: Bill Clinton - Fort Wayne
As the post says, many were Hillary supporters. It's not like this will sway very many votes.
