Re: Chief of Staff pick
I want a friend and pitbull running my day to day chit at the WH. Heck Lindsey Graham, McCain's friend from SC, said Rahm was an excellent pick, knew how Washington worked and a guy who get stuff done. Seems like the change we need in Washington DC.
Did you expect Obama to appoint Karl Rove or Scooter Libbey to that post?

So what's your beef with him? Is it b/c Obama seems to be looking in the rear-view mirror to the Clinton admin for this pick? Who would you have preferred?

Obama and Rahm have been friends for years, kids go to school together ... this is an excellent pick for C o S.
Now if Obama puts Madyln Albright at Sec of State, Robert Reich at Labor, Robert Rubin at Treasury, Donna Shalala at HHS, Janet Reno @ AG then LTRT could have a bitch, right now though LTRT is just being a flustered and frustrated neo-con who knows their day in power is over and that the republican party might just leave them behind. The Republican party should splinter into two parties .. social conservatives and economic conservatives and maybe a third splinter ... a Rockefeller republican party.
I love their disaray.

Re: Chief of Staff pick
Would've been funny if Obama would have said "As my chief of staff, I am in contact with a gentleman from the Fort Wayne, Indiana area. He claims to be a Buckeyes fan, but was heard on numerous occassions saying "Go Blue." I'll get back to you on what he has to say and see if I can convince him to come to DC with me and shake things up."

So now that the election is over and GW will soon be gone, it's clear that the mantra coming from you will not be the continued bush-bashing, but using far-left insults. Don't you have anything constuctive to say?

Re: Chief of Staff pick
I don't think it was that bad of a pick for him. I am curious about who will fill a couple of his cabinet positions.
