Johnson wins third title
Nope, this isn't a post about the Colts, OSU, the Reds or Bengals, the Cubs, ND, IU or that team up north. It's about Jimmy Johnson, driver of the #48 Lowe's car who on Sunday won his third in a row Nascar Championship. A feat only done once before in the history of Nascar. And Congrats to Chad Knaus for being the first crew chief to win a 3rd also.
Johnson wins third title in a row to match Yarborough

Re: Johnson wins third title
Is Lowe's still his main sponsor? I thought I saw "Kobalt" all over his car when I was watching the Enterntainment SPorts Network this morning?

Re: Johnson wins third title
I always wondered what he was up to after he finished coaching the Cowboys...

I'm just sayin...
I'm not a NASCAR fan to even the slightest degree, but I'd bet a severed finger and a toothless grin that somewhere in the south, some drunken idiot would *try to* kick your Sempre Fi arse for misspelling that name.

Kobalt is Lowe's 'private label' for their tools (not the ones in the red vests).

That's interesting. A couple months ago I picked up one of the 40pc. Kobalt socket sets that was on sale and I got it home and found out they have a F'd up proprietary fit system, so I returned them. Couple days later I went to Menards and got a $40 "Tool Shop" set that had something like 120pc.
Is it true, what I've heard is that Kobalt is made by Snap-On? I also heard if a Kobalt socket, or ratchet breaks Lowes will replace it for free like the Sears Craftsman tools?

That I've never heard, I can't keep up with the these companies buying each other out. A couple of info links:
Kobalt=Private Label
Some forum talkin bout the same stuff
Personally I'm a Craftsman guy, but do get intrigued by Kobalt's coolness.
