Obama Against buy American

Okay I thought this stimulus package we had to have right now or else.... The package had a buy american act in it. You know steel, cable, heavy construction equipment etc. Guess Obama doesn't like that. Wants to put Europe and chinese back to work before americans....

seems to me they are trying to ensure they dont violate any existing trade rules by insisting ONLY american-made materials etc be bought with the funds in question..yeah thats a bad thing and means they wont allow the funds to buy anything made in america. that damned terrorist muslim--cant say we werent warned....thats the ticket. anything-obama is a bad move to most here. boo hoo.

It's protectionism, and it made the depression a LOT worse. In my mind I think "buy american" is correct and logical, but in reality it doesn't work.

"Buy American" really is a farce if you're a real republican. Aren't republicans all about free trade and capitalism?
