Whalers Versus Activists

To get the new topic rolling, things are really heating up between Japanese whalers and activists.

SYDNEY — A group of radical anti-whaling activists said they were pelted with bloody chunks of whale meat and blubber after their boat collided Friday with a Japanese whaling vessel in a dramatic Antarctic Ocean clash Japan condemned as "unforgivable."

Regardless of what you think of the practice, doesn't it seem like a bad idea to take on a 8000-ton ship equipped with whale-hunting tools?

These two incidents are worlds apart, IMO. One was for human rights, the other for whale rights?

Because really needs whales nowadays...

This is a part of the investigation done by Greenpeace last year.

Two activists will be tried for exposing where the whale meat ends up and where it is labeled as cardboard.

i am with greenpeace on this. only 3 months until the trials..i will be watching to see how that is mishandled

lucky it isnt in china where every time there is a crisis..lead in america-bound toys, carcigens in american-bound food, etc somebody is determined to be the guilty party and killed with mega press coverage.
