Gummy shot glasses
I found this simple recipe for summertime fun. Nuke gummy worms in the microwave. Pour them into silicon molds for making shot glasses from ice, chill.
I've heard you can find a plastic shot glass mold at Target. Not sure if that would work as good as the silicon. Here's a couple online retailers for the molds.

Amazon ($5): http://www.amazon.com/Fred-Cool-Shooters-Shot-Glass/dp/B000I1UTNE
I plan on trying them with one of the Barton 99 proof schnapps like this: http://www.bartonbrands.com/99bananas.html

How do you survive without a microwave? I don't use mine to cook, necessarilly but definitely use it to reheat leftovers, especially for my daughter.

Re: Gummy shot glasses
We had a micro up until a year ago when we had a massive painting fit. I had been throwing around getting rid of it anyway, but once my counterspace increaded by a good third (we had moved everything off the kitchen counters to paint the wall under the counters), I was sold. In a nutshell, I would prefer to cook with our stove, including heating up leftovers. I've actually found that leftovers actually cook up better via stove vs micro. The food heats up more evenly and I'm able to control the outcome much better. For me personally, I'm not totally convinced that between microwaves, plastics, etc. that it's the healthiest way for my family to cook. I actually take a bit more time to plan out lunch, because I don't have to worry about just being able to toss nuggets in the micro. I thought I would totally and completely miss it, but I haven't missed it at all. At some point we may look into a small toaster oven, but haven't really felt the need to yet.
Besides, I now have no way to cook those damn Stauffer's paninis, which has helped my waistline considerably.
