Beer...oh lovely beer
Lately, between High Lifes, I've been getting into Landshark Beer. That stuff is great. Anyone else tried it? I know in a bar they serve it with a lime, but I have been drinking it without.

I have had landshark. I found it uninspiring, a cross between a corona and dos equis lager.
Last night I picked up a 6 of that Bud All American Ale... tastes like they tried hard to replicate a Sam Adams.

I was at Pine Valley Bar & Grill and they had PBR and Stroh's in the beer case for sale. I've seen the PBR around from place to place, but never seen Stroh's in a bar.

I can see the "uninspiring" aspect. If I'm in a bar, or out to dinner, I don't know if I would necessarily order one, but sitting on the pier looking at the boats go across the lake, Landsharks are pretty nice. Jimmy Buffet owns the brewery and I'm a quasi-parrot fan.
It also helps that every time we reach into the cooler we have to do the old SNL skit.
"knock, knock, knock"
"Who is it?"
"Landshark!"

I haven't, but the lady at Duty's tried to get me to get one once and said, like you said, it was similar to Sam Adams.

Re: Beer...oh lovely beer
Not much of a beer drinker....stick mainly in the Coors line with Killian's, Blue Moon, Coors reg or lite when I do drink.
There used to be a great little brewery in Frankenmuth that distributed beer through out Michigan, but a tornado took down most of the brewery and they just reopened it as a brew pub. Highly recommend stopping in if ever in the area. They had a lite beer there that was only 90 calories and had that full German taste.

As for Stroh's; that brand is starting to be marketed again, bought by Pabst Brewing Company, which was bought by Miller Brewing which has now combined with Coors. Used to love the Alex commercials from the 80's for Stroh's.

My choice is not to drink very often, but when I do, I try not to drink a lot that would cause my body to abort the cold refreshing satifaction of Michelob Ultra.

Last night I had a Sierra Nevada ESB. It's pretty heavy but tasty. Maybe my alltime favorite beer is Redhook ESB...thats some good stuff.

Not a big Sam Adams fan, so that's not a plus. I like Bass Ale and Samuel Smith's Pale Ale.

This is one of my top 10 fav beers.
Yes, but for some reason not during the summer. It has to be in the fall or winter for me.

I can tolerate it then... I just lost my taste for 'heavy' beers...

I have too for the most part, but this is an Amber Bock. It should be lighter than the regular Bocks.
