Did anyone else watch this miniseries on BBC America? I read a positive review, and taped it a few weeks ago. I finished watching it yesterday, and it was excellent. (although the wrap-up was a bit too convenient, but the story overcame even that flaw.) I even had a few tears in my eyes at several points in the fifth and final episode. But it is sci-fi, and I don't think this Board has a lot of sci-fi fans on it. (yes, I'm aware that term is out of vogue.)

I have watched a few episodes of Torchwood previously, so I know the storyline. I think you can watch the miniseries without the background.

Anyone?

Sci Fi is outdated? What is the new term?

I'm trying to find the article that said it was outdated, but can't. (read it a month ago or so when the Sci-Fi Channel changed its name to SyFy or whatever.)
