Frickers Building

I meant to post this a couple of weeks ago.

Does anybody know whats up with the old Frickers building? I've noticed that the exterior has been painted with some kind of a beach scene. Wonder is somebody bought the building and plans on opening as a new establishment.

I noticed that too ... kind of beachy theme. Not big enoughht for a Buffet Margaritaville or Cheeeseburger in Paradise restaurant.

Prolly something local ... hope it flies.

They have a sign up. The new place is called Beach Bums, and says something about gourmet hamburgers.

Saw that...

Another $8 burger place, just what the town needs. I won't be their first customer, but may be willing to visit after hearing reviews.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - 100 jobs are on the books as Beach Buds Restaurant gets ready to open on West Washington Blvd. where Frickers Bar and Restaurant used to operate.

Apparently they don't have spell check over at CH15.

Way to go on touting the 100 jobs part.
