Kid Games for Wii
My daughter will be 4 years old in May. She loves watching me play the Wii, and she herself likes to play bowling on Wii Sports. She has recently stated that she wants her own game. Anyone have any suggestions? She is pretty good with the basic concepts of moving a joystick/mouse and pushing buttons to complete an action. We have a VTech or Leapfrog gaming console that hooks to the TV that she is pretty good with. She also plays games on the internet on the various kids websites.
Looking on the internet, Endless Ocean and Big Brain Academy have both gotten decent comments from reviewers for young children. Big Brain Academy seems like it may be a bit too advanced for an almost 4 year old though. I'm going to get her started on Mario Kart. I think if I put her in a time trial with no other cars and teach her how to steer, she might do alright with it.

We havent found anything spectacular for the Wii... we tried a barbie thing, but it was a bit too advanced... she does Chicken Shoot pretty well, but it's not exactly the best in gaming experiences.

I just played Mario Kart with my 6-year-old nephew. I do not recommend Rainbow Road.
By the way, have you tried the New Super Mario Brothers Wii game? They allow for multiple players simultaneously. There are parts where it can be rough, but as long as there's somebody making progress, any other players can hide inside a bubble and not have to worry about jumps nor enemies. Also played this with my nephew, he was a big fan of the bubble.

I suck at Mario bros... hands down suck at it. Back in the day when it cost a quarter I would play and play and never get better. My wife on the other hand, burns it up. She cant play Madden, Gran Turismo et al... but she kicks ass at Mario bros and I suck.
