Should Pelosi remain as minority leader? Empty Should Pelosi remain as minority leader?

Should the dems keep the same leadership team that caused the largest defeat in the last 6 decades? Does she not get it that America doesn't support her and her policies (well except for the looney bay area). I am hoping Shuler pulls off an upset for minority leader.

Pelosi needs to get on a train and get far, far away from DC as possible along with Reid, Boxer, Feinstein, et al. Sorry...I drifted off into dreamland for a moment.

the only reason democrats lost this election is that there weere more of them. If there was a republican majority, it would have been a groundswell of support for democrats. You give Pelosi too much credit.

No, if the liberal Dems would have listen to the majority of Americans they would not have lost as many seats as they did. Thanks to people like Pelosi and her philosophy that the voters are too stupid to know what is good for them, she has turned America back from blue to red.

I don't think so man.. the majority of Americans could likely give a shit as not. What was turnout, something like 42%? If the economy still sucks in 2014, the republicans will be out on their arses as well.

And isn't it true that an elected official's job is to listen to their constituents, and not a majority of the American people?

Are not the constituents the American people. So if the American people say no then don't there constituents say no? But she is more than a representative of her area, she was the speaker of the house and isn't it her job to listen to all the people?

Hey way I see it more campaign ads next election cycle with her, Obama and Reed. Should even net us the Senate and even more of the house.
