The Cheesecake Factory
Ok, they now have a new customer. Had an appt in Indy 2day, only got cheesecake there b/c we had stopped at the Original Pancake House on the way into town. Have to go back to Indy for another appt soon, this time will actually get a meal at the CF, I saw the menu while picking out cheesecake, most things looked/sounded awesome!!!

Re: The Cheesecake Factory
CF is great for when you want to indulge. First experienced them in Phoenix a couple of years ago, then quickly found out about the one in Indy at the Fashion Mall. We try to stop in on occasion when we frequent Keystone.

I really like Cheesecake factory. I usually always get the orange chicken or something like that.

Re: The Cheesecake Factory
I like their Shepherd's Pie.
However, the Cheesecake Factory is also next to P.F. Chang's in Indy (I think), and my hub and I will pick that over the Factory every time. (I don't really care for Chinese food much unless it's dim sum, and so the fact that Chang's isn't authentic is a HUGE plus for me.)
My other favorite chain restaurant in Indy is Carabba's. That's an Italian restaurant chain that started in Houston. And while the chain restaurants don't have everything the original did, they're still pretty good.

Re: The Cheesecake Factory
I love the cheesecake factory....all though I do not like cheesecake. Put me down for their apple dumplin, like the food also. Also across the street is a McAllister Deli....great food, wish the Fort had one of them also.
Re: The Cheesecake Factory
I ate there in VA and in Buffalo, I am not too impressed with the food. I like the cheesecakes though, good selection.

Re: The Cheesecake Factory
iberlingirl -- thought of you when I saw this in the JG. There may not be a Cheesecake Factory here, but you can apparently get their cheesecake at least!
Coffee shop opens on Illinois Road
The Roasted Bean has opened at 5129 Illinois Road in the new, still signless plaza called The Shoppes at Illinois Road.
The menu includes coffee drinks and pastries, including some gluten-free options. There is also Cheesecake Factory-brand cheesecake.
For $3.50, you can order the soup of the day and a muffin, a special that’s available from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday.

The Casa out SW is at the corner of Jefferson and Engle.
I think (????) the Shoppes of Illinios is that shopping center where Cardinal Fitness just went in? or is it that new one down near Ethan Allen?

Ok, my bad... I get 14 and 24 and what is on what confused quite often. I have no clue where the Shoppes are... but I do know that somewhere on 24 there is a strip mall type place, near Casa's. So, if I can find it, I will try it out.
