Really having to replace the plumbing already. Hopefully they will be holding the contractor responsible. No way this should be happening.

Whoops... I have only been once, and I didnt think it was an exceptional stadium. I will be disappointed if we lose out on the Superbowl.

Just curious, what made you think it wasn't exceptional?

It is in every way I can think of an exceptional stadium. I don't really want to make comparisons to the RCA Dome, as it was old and outdated. The Luke is easy to get in and out of, lots of toilets, and very wide concourse/walking area. The video screens and scoreboards are very optimally located. The only aspect of the RCA Dome that trumps the Luke is the "hominess" of the dome. That place was so loud compared to the new.

Definitely an improvement over the RCA dome. But compared to some of the other NFL stadiums that I have been to it is just average. I personally like the Ravens stadium. Lucas oil is equivelant to the superdome and that is over 30 years old.

To be technical, it's not a players strike. It's a lockout by the owners.

I've never been to the superdome, but I would imagine it is very similar to the RCA Dome.

Along with my above improvements, also add the seats in the Luke are far more comfortable than the RCA. The food options are also far better. Another thing, the seating layout is more viewer friendly in the new stadium. I sit in row 6, upstairs on the 30 yard line. Although my seats are higher, as far as vertical distance, I am horizontally closer to the field than in the RCA. The rows of seats in the RCA were at a lesser angle.

I'm not sure specifically what it was. I thought the sides could have been steeper to make you closer to the field... I thought it was a fascinating building from a function standpoint, but I didnt see alot of effort put into the form portion... It felt like a blimp hangar, all utilitarian with the exception of the copious, copious advertisements positively everywhere. I know thats what gets the bills paid, but you couldn't look anywhere without someone hawking something.

The RCA dome was not even close to the superdome, plus they usually upgrade parts of the superdome about every 5 to 7 years. Now I haven't been in the superdome since the Katrina remodeling, but before Katrina it was on par with what Lucas Oil is now.
