Michelob Ultra Lime Cactus Beer
Saw this at the store, and just had to try it. (Mich Light, not Ultra, is my favorite domestic beer other than brewpub stuff.)
It doesn't taste remotely like beer. It's not bad, but I couldn't finish it as it had an odd taste.
Anyone else try it yet?

If I want a beer, I'll buy one that tastes like beer, if I want lime flavoring I'll buy a Sprite.

I tried the miller "Chelada" beer and thought that it tasted horrible. I like to put lime and salt in a beer from time to time.

I pretty much drink Boddingtons year round. However, I find no aversion to an Anchor Steam every now and then. And in the summertime, I've been known to swallow a Stella or three. But Boddingtons is my home base.

Stella is the best beer on Earth. I drink a lot of mexican beer and have had some out there beers as well, but Stella is a cut above.

Dude?...I don't want to sound like the tallest twat on earth but JK's has all three. But really I was schooled on beer and music from my friend in Portland. He made me cognizant of a world beyond here that should really be here. I mean if here was there Fort Wayne would be the place to be. I guess I don't know if "the Fort" has the academic pull to make things like I'd like them to be, but jeez...What does Portland have that Fort Wayne doesn't? I mean besides Stephen Malkmus and Dead Meadow?

A slice of lime in a beer is a nice diversion sometimes. I never figured out why it seems Corona is the only beer they always put a slice of lime in.

Hey, Caddy and I have something in common - I love Boddington's, although Anchor Steam and Stella are just okay.
If you're going to get into either foreign or crafted domestic beer, I think my favorite is just a plain ole Bass ale. Yum. Or a not-so-plain Abita Purple Haze.

I don't mind it since it's so damn cheap. Nice and refreshing.
Founders and Dogfishhead breweries. 'nuff said.

Boddingtons is good beer. Ever try a Young's? I like the Double Chocolate, and their Oatmeal Stouts.

Guiness! Brilliant!
At home I drink Sam Adams, Berghoff's Dark and Grolsch on occasion (cool bottles, only availabe at Belmont I think.. whichever one is in Time Corners). I'm also still working on brewing my own but haven't come up with a brew that I really enjoy yet. This is also why i get the Grolsch bottles, they can be reused if you clean them out.

I also like Young's Double Chocolate Stout, although it takes some getting used to.
Another beer I prefer is Samuel Smith's Pale Ale.

Also an elcheapo kit.. i'm not investing in anything serious until I've decided I really enjoy it. Mr Beer works till then.

The decent kits are much better. My wifes uncle has a larger kit and he makes some kick ass brews compared to what I can make.

I don't mind a Michelob occasionally. I'm not too big a fan of flavored beers, though. I keep it pretty basic when it comes to the beers I drink.

No waaaay, I didn't think anybody drank that anymore. I remember back during HS we'd score some PBR when we were already lit up and that's all the money we could scrap up to get some more.

I was at the new location of Pine Valley Bar & Grill over the winter and saw they had PBR and Strohs for sale. Me and a buddy bought one of each just because we couldn't believe it.

Yes way. It's good. It's cheap. It's patriotic.

That's funny, I remember actually acquiring a bit of a taste for Strohs when I was a teenager.

Re: Michelob Ultra Lime Cactus Beer
PBR is the anti-beer.
Some drink it because it represents the anti-establishment and hipsters who rage against conformity and pretentiousness.
Irony.
Fleek drinks it because he's a cheap-ass.

I didn't mind Stroh's, I do think they changed it from what it was in the 80's. I especially liked their commercials with Alex the dog in them.
