with perhaps a pinch of Nadal tossed back in...... I really like Djokovich. Did you ever see his imitations of other players? He may not do them anymore, but they were funny.

I'm not familiar with him but I did find this story interesting. Apparently this Troika is kind of a putz.

I don't blame troika at all for that. It was a match that had been postponed because of darkness the day before, and it was the opening point of the fifth set... a huge 25+ stroke rally and Troika hit the clear winner while the ball kid was inadvertently on the court. Andy Murray wasnt even close to it. The ball kid did not actually interfere, but was just on the court near troika. The ref took away troika's winner and made them replay the rally.

What bothers me more is that Andy Murray could have simply said to the ref that he wished to give Troika the point. Tennis rules allow for such sportsmanship. Murray missed an opportunity to show some class.

Yea, he's a hilarious guy, very well liked. In any sport, it's always fascinating to me to see a player get over the cusp and enter into their prime. When Federer used to have long hair and wasn't winning everything no one suspected he was the greatest ever. Not suggestive that Novak is anywhere close to the talent that Federer is (was?), but I enjoy watching any sport played well.

hehe... before his career matured his nickname was Chokeavich...

The djokavich/federer french open semi was probably one of the top 20 matches i have ever seen. Definitely the best match of the tournament.

I was glad the Bryan (Brian?) brothers won again. They have now tied the record.
