Wow, no football talk in the last month. We are moribund.

Colts - who knew they'd be so sluggish without Peyton? Probably everyone, I guess.

Texans -- thought they'd beat the Saints (sorry, Scooby.) Maybe next time. They still look better than last year.

Aggies -- Off to the SEC. Bummer they lost to Oklahoma State, especially since they kicked butt in the first half. At first I hated the idea of breaking up the Big 12, but the SEC will offer better recruiting possibilities. I think A&M will have a snowball's chance in hell of ever winning a division, though.

As a Bears fan, I hate to hit the panic button so early, but the chance of a division title is already slim. After 3 games, we are already 2 behind Green Bay AND Detroit. Since we just lost to Green Bay, we probably have to make up 3 games to surpass them, and I'm not sure the Packers will even lose 3 games this year.

While the Saints are pulling out some close ones. It is great to see teams that haven't won in a while to be doing good. Hello Detroit, hello Buffalo. Really admire Stafford. Wish he was the Bears QB instead of Cutler. While Cutler has the arm he just doen't have the attitude of a Bear QB.

the Bungles are their usual selves. unfortunately their quest to go winless is blemished by the week 1 win against the browns...
