Affordable Care Act and the CBO
Maybe I dont fully understand the context of these numbers, but...
the CBO says that in light of the supreme court decision that grants states more leeway, 3 million people that would have previously gained insurance under the act will now not gain such insurance, and this results in a savings of $84 billion, putting the program further in the red (assuming they go through with the planned tax increases and spending cuts).
84 billion dollars divided by 3 million people amount to about $2300 a month. That seems like considerably more than what a reasonable health insurance policy costs, even if you buy it outright. My insurance for a family of four is $970 a month, which includes the portion my employer pays.
I dont imagine any sort of conspiracy here, just trying to figure out how those numbers make any sense.

Good to hear from you again Pez! I'll have to check that out. Doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me either.

Re: Affordable Care Act and the CBO
The whole Obamacare doesn't make sense on the cost structure. But hey they got it passed and that is all that really matters to the Dems.
