bowl games?

We are going to the Cotton Bowl (A&M vs. Oklahoma), but to me, there are very few bowl games this season that are worthwhile. Florida vs. Louisville? Virginia Tech vs. Rutgers? Iowa St. vs. Tulsa? Wisconsin vs Stanford? Uneven matchups, and snooze inducing at best. I realize there are Ohio State fans who could give a *&^%$ about the bowl games this year, but anyone else? There are only two other bowl games I plan to watch - Alabama vs. Notre Dame (go Tide!), and Texas vs. Oregan State (just want to see Texas lose by a HUGE margin).

Anyone else with strong feelings?

I'm not really all that into the games this year either. My Purdue rewarded their coach for making it to a bowl game by firing him. Seems like they would at least wait until after the game.

Well, so much for my prediction of Florida/Louisville being a snoozer. In some ways it was, but the score was certainly not what I expected!

it was great seeing Aggies defeat Sooners fairly soundly. I wasn't too impressed with Jerryworld (Cowboys Stadium), but it is beautiful. And huge TV screen, which is nice. But the lines outside were awful, and one line literally never moved. One of the employees finally told everyone to go to another entrance. And there was no one directing traffic outside, so it was mayhem. (without the hunky Allstate guy.)

Still, happy to see the Ags win.
