American Idol
Ok thought I would start a thread for all things American Idol ... lol. For some reason I am guessing that Jugo is not a fan! lol

Re: American Idol
I love them all so far. The first guy was iffy but I really liked the other 3 guys.

The guys did do really good last night, eh?

Re: American Idol
Sad to say, Jugo, I thought Luke was awful and the rest were great. I have always hated the song Hello, but the guy (Chris?) sang the hell out of it.
My favorite was probably Jason's version of Hallelujah. Amazing.

I thought Jason's was pretty good, I thought the two David's were pretty good, and the dude who sang the HELLO song was really good too, different twist on Lionel Richie's version. lol
The girls tonight are not nearly as good as the guys ...

OK Aggie - who will it be tonight?
Ok Aggie so who is going home tonight? I am not good with their names yet, but the girl that looks like Carrie Underwood might go and I think the little oriental girl? Out of the guys, I would have to say the last dude Chaqezee (sp? way off there) and maybe the dude with the purple highlights in his hair?

Re: American Idol
I think Luke's definitely gone, and then Danny (purple hair guy.) If not Danny, then Chikezie. I think he has a good voice, but horrible song choices.
We were watching A&M play Baylor last night, and so we will be catching on the girls' episode tonight before the eliminations.

Re: American Idol
OK, let me start by saying that I've never 'got-into' this show. So I come home last night, flip the tv on and hear some chick attempting to do Joan Jett (I hate myself for loving you). What's with the back-up singers anyway?
Needless to say, that was then end of Idol on the set. Now don't slam me too hard

Re: American Idol
No slamming from me...... The only reason I started watching it is that my hub got into it. I'd be reading, and then look up to see what was going on when some horrible voice came screeching out of the screen. Or on occasion, a really beautiful voice.
I still read through most of the auditions in the early weeks, and through the a lot of background stuff currently -- I'm just not that interested. I like listening to the various singers; that's about it. And Simon Cowell.
As far as I'm concerned, Paula is on some serious drugs. Does she EVER make sense when she talks?
Try watching the guys next week and let me know what you think. Don't bother watching the elimination show tonight; it's mostly filler.

I watched one episode and I am not even sure what season it was. No reality shows for me.

3-6 Idol Results
I think Luke should have made the top 12 and Chikeze (sp?) should have been sent packing. Danny Noriega was by far the least capable of the guys ... on the girls side I think the little oriental girl should have went packing and Asia'h should have stayed ...just my opinion and we know opinions are like assholes, we all have one.

Re: American Idol
Wow, you and I certainly don't agree!! I thought Luke was AWFUL, rancid, uninspiring, flat, etc. etc. And I would rather Danny had stayed than Chikezie, but I think his day is coming soon.
I loved the Asian girl; wish that the blonde chick at the end (Kristy lee?) that sang the snoozer version of Faithfully would have hit the pavement. Of course, it's a snoozer song.

We agree though that they were the bottom 3 (Luke, Chikezie, and Danny).
I also don't like the rocker girl, the bad girl ... blonde bangs ... the judges all like her though.

the nurse? Ah, she's okay, but there's no way she'll make it past the next few weeks.

The little David guy who looks like he is 12 should win, he seems so very sweet and innocent. He could date my daughter or son.

My vote to be booted off is Kristy Lee Cook -- no contest.

Re: American Idol
Chikezie was definitely the best tonight.
The girl from Indiana almost looked like she was imitating Elvis.

Chikezie did rock the place tonight, I was really happy for him, he seems like a nice dude.

Re: American Idol
on the edge of my seat here..
I think that one girl in the bottom three sounds like a lounge singer nttawwt.
edited to add that after the country version of 8 days a week... the lounge singer might be safe.
