Head Scarves in Turkish Universities
Well, we don't exactly have a world news category, but this is close enough. Turkish courts have re-instated a ban on head scarves in public universities after the parliament lifted the ban earlier this year.

In my opinion, they should be allowed to wear head scarves if they want to. I find it interesting that in some countries, they FORCE women to wear headscarves. Now in Turkey, they're forcing women to NOT wear headscarves. Um, how about a choice? Anyway, I figure my stance isn't too outlandish, yet when I checked the poll on the international version of CNN (http://edition.cnn.com), it was a narrow 52% to 48% in favor of lifting the ban. So I guess I'm wondering if anyone here thinks they should keep the ban and, if so, why?
