Video Captures Car Wash Abuse Of Child

ORLANDO, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35 ORLANDO) -- Orange County Sheriff's deputies are looking for a woman who abused a child at a car wash. It happened at Magical Carwash on Bloomfield Drive in Orlando.

Manager Marlene Diaz called authorities after seeing what happened on surveillance video. When she heard the child crying, she ran out to help, but by that time both the suspects and child had left.

Video shows a woman getting out of a white, 4-door sedan, Hyundai Alantra. She put money into a machine while another woman brought the girl out. The child tried to get away, but one of the women sprayed her using a pressure washer.

Diaz says it was on high power, "It stings, it burns. I've heard stories where this type of pressure, it forms like a rug burn and can actually take off the top layer of the skin."

Diaz heard the woman yelling at the child in Spanish saying, "You're not gonna disrespect me, don't worry I'm not gonna hit you. I'm just gonna get you with cold water, you're gonna learn to respect me. You're not gonna treat me bad."

According to deputies the woman sprayed water at the child's legs, chest and face. She then stripped the wet clothes off the victim, leaving her nude in the wash bay. The child was dressed into dry clothes, before the suspects drove away. Deputies believe the child was 3 to 6 years old.
