Good grief, trying to make the astrological term "Black Hole" into a racist comment is just a touch too much. Just think, there will probably be a day when a "Red-Headed Organization" will form and say that the term "Red-headed stepchild" is offensive and racist and those that say it should have to quit their job or be fired.

I saw this too. What nonsense. A big conglomerate company that I used to work for had what it called a global black list to identify potential terrorist names that should be checked before we do business with them. Of course some people called it racist and it was changed to a watch list. After that the running joke was to substitute every use of the word black for watch, as in "I'm listening to some Watch Sabbath".

I suppose the Chicago White Sox should change their name, b/c I'm now thinking that you can only be a fan of the team if you're white.

I also saw a story on the Today Show this morning that the Atlanta road construction department is changing their "Men Working" signs to read "Workers Ahead" or just plain "Workers."

That one does make sense to me, because if I was working for say a restaurant's kitchen, I wouldn't like it if there was a sign on the kitchen door that said "Women Behind This Door."
