Peyton Manning knee surgery
So are any of you Colts fans worried about Peyton's knee surgery? Did I hear correctly that they removed the same thing (bursa sacks) that was causing problems for Marvin Harrison last year? Why wasn't this discovered sooner? Did he recently get injured? (Yes, I know I could probably just google it, but then that would be pretty boring, wouldn't it?)
Re: Peyton Manning knee surgery
Peyton has been getting treatment for the inflamed bursa sack over the winter with little success. Thats why they decided to remove it. It's the same thing that sidelined Marv last season, but Marv's bursa sack was ruptured. I'm a little worried how he will play in the first coule of weeks, good thing the Colts open against the Bears. I don't think he will miss any regular season games. He hasn't missed a game in his career, which is unheard of these days from an NFL qb.

Oh yeah, the thought of Jim Sorgi leading the blue and white down the field makes me want to puke.

Indeed... now imagine if sexy rexy was your starter for real... I really hate Bears Ownership for that one...
I wouldn't be worried about Peyton.. from all accounts he should recover fine and his offense isn't young, so there won't be man/any growing pains there. With Reggie, Marvin and Dallas out there how much timing do they really need to work on?
