No Birthday Wishes For Obama, Bman?
I heard on the radio it is Obama's birthday.
Bman, did you organize a party for your knight? LOL
I think this should be his campaign song.

Bman, you are getting bitter in your old age. That's what listening to the outspoken Democrats in this country will do. They rally the troops via a victim mentality.Bman wrote:This can be you guys BASHING OBAMA thread .... have fun.

Makes me think the next thing you would hear (if it was part of a cartoon strip) would be "Paging Dr. Democratic Party Candidate. ER. Stat."Mort wrote:Hey Bman I like your avatar

Oh-oh. That certain Obama landslide victory isn't so certain anymore.

Yeah.... TLDR
Worry = Fear, so it seemed a partisan biased article suggesting prejudgement on future unknowns. Rubbish.

Interesting response. It was too long to read and yet you can suggest it's biased? Do you consider Yahoo biased for reporting it from their site? Actually, most of the people quoted from the article are self-proclaimed Democrats. Hey, think what you want.meta4 wrote:Markwes wrote:Oh-oh. I skimmed most of it. There wasn't enough specific fact to warrant further analysis. I done did thunk what I wanted and I posted my thoughts. Thanks for your comments.

Yeah, campaign analysis is not normally based on facts. You find a bunch of sources and get their opinions. That's why they refer to polls as 'unscientific'.

And you find it odd that I don't have to read the entire article in depth to suggest it's biased?

Re: No Birthday Wishes For Obama, Bman?
Just based on the subject matter, I don't see how it can be viewed as biased. Saying the race is tightening is not an endorsement for McCain. I was watching the basketball game between America and China over the weekend. In the first half of a tight game, the announcer gave his opinion that the gap has narrowed between the American basketball team and other countries. I guess that makes him biased against America according to that line of thought.meta4 wrote:Markwes wrote:Yeah, campaign analysis is not normally based on facts. No, but if he had said that America should have been worried about China closing the score gap would have been totally different. Suggesting a closing score gap to viewers as if it's something they should be worried about is absurd. The viewers have no control over the game.

So is this poll rubbish or is the once "can't lose" candidate starting to lose?

I actually won't pay attention to the polls until about the middle of October. Both candidates are going to get a bump after they name their VP and then again after their conventions. After a few debates under their belts the polls will be more accurate and that won't happen until the middle of October.

Reuters publishes a (hmm...) Reuters poll of 1089 "likely" voters by phone with a 3% margin of error and the Repubs feel like this is a boost after a weeks vacation? Amazing. The temporal memory of people surveyed by undisclosed telephone sampling methods clearly shows everyone an accurate status of the race...

Exactly Meta. The thing to keep in mind, I am confident that the bulk of Obama's supporters are FIRM in their faith and support of Obama, where as the McCain supporters are wishy washy. Hell, Guiliani a pro-choice crossdresser is giving the keynote address at their convention. Rumor has Tom Ridge, a pro-choice former Governor as his runningmate. These things are going to piss the evangelibans off ... I think for McCain to win in November he needs the bigger lead right now because Barack's supportors are firmly entrenched.

Serious bman? Are you fucking kidding me with the cross-dressing shit? Uncle Tom much asshole? Dressing in drag does not a cross-dresser make; interesting to see how quickly you sellout your supporters. I realize that the numbers have you all shaking in your bvd's but somehow I expected more from you.

Re: No Birthday Wishes For Obama, Bman?
I heard on WLW today that Mitt Romney will be McCain's running mate...maybe. I just guess we'll have to see what happens. Easy to speculate right now. And isn't Evan Bayh supposed to be on the short list for Obama?

Well man, I'm with you through the "Exactly Meta" part but then I'm wondering where they brew that coolaid you're on. All I'm saying is that you know me, and I'm generally a non predictatory sorta fella. that is, I'm slow to predict the future. I'm not sure how you get the idea that these things will fully come to pass...
Screw all the neocon coolaid too... but I'm just not so sure of the details

Which is a shame that the fanatics of the Republican party are just as big of Idiots as the MOONBATS of the democratic party. Ridge would be an excellent choice as VP.
