NEW YORK - Gov. Eliot Spitzer has told senior advisers that he had been involved in a prostitution ring, the New York Times reported Monday.

Spitzer was scheduled to make an announcement Monday afternoon. Spitzer officials wouldn't immediately comment on the story.

Spitzer is a first-term Democrat and former state attorney general. He is married with three children.

Hey, he was just trying to help the American economy!

The one thing that really stood out to me in the article was this:
"The most highly ranked prostitutes cost $5,500 an hour, prosecutors said."

I'm sure they are highly talented, but huh?

Nah, they just walk on Park Ave. They focus on the corporate guys. Corporate Hookers.

Heck I guess us poor folk just can't afford the good hookers ... So where are the "hot" spots here in Fort Wayne, I am guessing the most cruising takes place down near the crack house.

Did you happen to see the press conference? Very dramatic. Eliot Spitzer was there. He had yellow crime scene tape draped around his pants – crazy.

The thinking now is that the governor may step down now to spend less time with his family.

he is a dem and i am on him just like i was with bill..party makes no difference on this stuff for me.. the bad thing is its been going on 6 years i saw on net..and he has been the high and mighty buster of prostitution rings using the very tools that were used to bust him. and there is talk he is trying to work it so he doesnt get any felony charges--money laundering etc, so he wont lose his law license. that will cause an uproar with all the people he busted i am thinking..as it should!

I blame this on George Bush.

I feel bad for his wife too but there she was standing next to him at his press conference. If that had been me I would be lucky to still have the physical capability to hold a press conference.

I heard she didn't even know this guy was the governor of NY. That's believable, Right!!!!

She says she doesn't want to be thought of as a monster. I don't think of her that way at all. I think of her as an overpaid, home-wrecking, whore, but not a monster.

The same could be said about him.
He solicited her "services".
He wrecked his home. She is not responsible for his actions, he is.
