Guess who voted alongside the Democrats 96-97% of the time?

So which is worse? Voting alongside a president 95% of the time whose approval rating is in the toilet, or voting 96-97% alongside your democrats that are leading a Congress with an even worse approval rating?

I don't know which is worse, but I think it's important to know. Is voting alongside your fellow senate democrats 97% of the time in 2007 real change?

I'm just wondering. I'm on the fence with this election and trying to find out via as much independent research as possible.

Historically, congress ALWAYS has had a lower rating than the president.

Just thought I would throw that out there. People use it like it's news, but it's not.

I still think Ron Paul is a better choice than either of these people. As always, it'll come down to the Giant Douche vs. Turd Sandwich.

I wouldn't put much stock in that. First of all, Bush's approval rating is based on Iraq, which constitutes what, 2 votes out of the 95%? And based on what we knew at the time, I would agree with McCain's vote. And as far as Obama, the main complaint of the Democrats in Congress is that they are not doing anything. So voting with them or not is really irrelevant.
