Congress (is a word less than 10 characters long)

Being a liberal and often a democrat, I thik Nancy Pelosi is doing a disservice to her party, and more tragically her country. She has failed to preside over congress in a way that reflects true leadership.

I think Congress could have reacted to the mortgage crisis more than a year ago when greenspan was waving the subprime red flag, before the mortgage crisis became the credit crisis, that became the economic crisis....

It's as much on all congressional democrats as Pelosi, but Pelosi could have done something about it. Hear how emboldened her voice is now that their blood lust for the presidency has been satiated...

Congress failed us, failed us miserably, and did so in such a way so that the economy would tank on Bush's watch and assure them the presidency, that they likely would have won anyway.

But Pez, there were MORE IMPORTANT issues that Congress HAD to take care of, like steroids in baseball and finding out if Roger Clemens lied or not...

I hear what you're saying though and tend to agree. The Tin Foil Hat Conspiracy Theorist in me wouldn't doubt there were discussions in a back room in which the Dems were conspiring to make the economy look as bad as possible and not do anything about it so that their candidate could look like he (or she) was coming to the rescue. But I'm sure some will say the Republicans only blocked the Dems efforts to help the economy out. Whatever happened and how it happened is something I doubt we'll ever have the full story on.

They could save lots of money by testing them using this stuff here.
