Beef casserole.
1 1/2 lbs beef chuck
1 Onion halved and sliced
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon celery salt
black pepper
1 cup water
1/4 cup dark molasses
2 tablespoons flour

Cut the beef into two inch cubes and add it to the crock-pot. Sprinkle the ginger, pepper, salt and garlic powder on top, then add the rest of the ingredients and stir briefly. Cover the slow cooker and cook for six to eight hours on low. Stir and serve hot.

Beef cooks so nicely in a slow cooker and one of the best crock-pot recipes of all time has to be beef casserole. Leave this delicious meal simmering away in the slow cooker all day and you will get home to a kitchen that smells amazing and a meal which is all ready to serve.

Note.
I have omitted the veggies, as your veggie friend would probably not eat it anyway.
Ask if he/she minds eating veggies that have been prepared in a stew.

The veggies can very quickly be boiled if they are prepared in advance.
2 cup diced carrots
2 cups green peas
2 cups corn
2 sliced leeks
2 cups diced parsnips.
I would serve with mashed potatoes, but they could be boiled as well.
