Within 12 hours of getting my Check from Dubya, I paid down debt...

I dunno... I think a more effective way to stimulate the economy would be to do the right thing and stop this unnecessary war.

That's what I thought, even though it doesn't affect us.

The following information was provided by the Internal Revenue Service:

INDIANA/KENTUCKY - The Internal Revenue Service has begun to transfer economic stimulus payments to millions of Americans, some of whom will see payments in their bank accounts as early as today.

The IRS will issue payments of up to $600 ($1,200 for married couples) plus $300 for eligible children younger than 17, throughout the spring and summer. The first wave of payments will go to people who opted for direct deposit on their 2007 income tax returns.

it is $300/kid, my guess is pez hit the 2 instead of the 3 by accident.

I have to wait all the way till the 12th.. how ever will I survive....

Already paid off my credit cards this past quarter (tax season is good for something I guess). Throwing a party for my friends and family and buying lumber for the basement with half, saving the other half.

I don't want bman to come scare away all the little kids and I don't want him to feel left out (well, cincy wouldn't be invited either, no fans of that school allowed on my property, plus they'd probably melt when they saw my Block M shrine.. so wait... maybe... lol) when he's the only one not invited.

Besides.. with my luck it'll rain all flipping week and day and I'll be stuck with a ton of people running around my house and no cornhole boards. I am planning on having a Wii on a 109" screen though..... that should be fun.

I'm going to buy a bag of rice and 5 lbs of flour. That should about wipe me out. If there is anything left I might put some gas in the car.

I should be getting mine around the end of May. Yeah, just when I thought I could use it to pay down some debt, the A/C goes out. So I'll be "stimulating" the economy with mine, that's for sure. Air Conditioning...a necessary evil.

I haven't received mine yet.

I figured I would receive it a couple days early since it was originally supposed to be direct deposited by May 9th. That was the case before they started mailing/depositing them early so then I thought I'd get it a few days prior to 5/9...but, no...still no deposit.

Then again...I'm at the very end of the SS# range (70) so it'll probably be one of the last.

I'm in the exact same boat as you. My SS# ends in 72. I figured it would be there by now.
