Best Fries
So who do you think has the best fries in town. Don't care if it's a fast food joint or 'regular' restaurant...
For me...Rally's!

Re: Best Fries
This is tough because I don't eat fries that often and places can be really inconsistent. I got an incredible order of fries at the Rib Room once and would swear they were the best in town but subsequently have had horrible ones and don't get them anymore.

I'll go with Allen County sheriff Ken Fries.

I have to say, I love Charley's in the mall for fries. Crispy outside, but not hard on the inside.

Ziffles/King Gyro's
Fleek has good taste in food!
I'm fat. You should expect nothing less.
I will say that Ziffle's fries lose a percentage point when NOT covered with some sort of BBQ'd meat.

Re: Best Fries
Then you two can be the equivalent to the Two Fat Ladies from Jolly ol' England.
The Fat Lads from Fort Wayne?
Make your own fries. They're even better.
Chop potatoes, add a little bit of hot sauce, some blended fresh herbs, salt to taste a bit of olive oil to coat them, stick em in the oven under the broiler.
Use mayo as your dip, and if you like mustard add a little bit to the mayo.

Re: Best Fries
I thought someone mentioned this before, but couldn't find it.
So I broke down and stopped at McD's today, I can't remember when the last time I've been there. It's gotta be at least 18-24 mths. Anyway I grab a couple of cheeseburgers and a small fry off the dollar menu.
What happened to their fries? They sucked, bland with no flavor whatsoever. I think I've had dirt that had more flavor than those fries. Surely not the same as years gone by, I used to really enjoy their fries, oh well what did I expect for a buck anyway.

Re: Best Fries
I think I brought this up on the former board - the fries seemed to have change ~5 years ago. That was in West Lafayette, though; it might have just been a location difference, but I'm thinking they might have implemented something different at all of them. I'm not sure how long ago you last had their fries, but maybe they've gone and changed things yet again. I'll just continue to avoid them like always.
EDIT: Obviously, it helps if I read the post. Anyway, I'm not sure - maybe they're going through yet another change or maybe the "West Lafayette" taste is just now making its way here.

They changed their oil that they fry them in to be more healthy (if that is possible).
Re: Best Fries
Penn Station peanut oil fries. Yum. Other than that, nothing good in the fort.
